Helmet question

So I have 2 Helmets (got 1 for free with a purchase recently) and both of them are like the hard hat style, I want a normal helmet and I know they have to make them but when I look online none of the descriptions say, I feel like that’s the main feature why don’t they just say this is the “suspension” this is the “padding” or foam whatever you want to call it.

Anyway can I get some recommendations for a helmet?

Kask is solid. Petzel Vertex or Vertex vent..
Get on WesSpur.com and looky.
Others will chime in i am sure. You will have to understand that not every head is shaped the same and what someone might like, might not be "just right goldilocks" for you. Most find Kask heavy, but you build up to it. Anothers chin strap you might find annoying. If you can find a store or hit a show, might serve you well.

So for petzel the vertex is padded and the strato is the suspension?

And whoever said Kask I need specifics which model is the padded? I see like 3 models I think I’m sure they aren’t all padded are they?


I wish I had a store in my area but I don’t I’m like halfway between Charlotte and greenboro and I imagine those are the closest, I’ll have to make a road trip one day

Kask Superplasma is the most common. I wore that helmet for close to 15 years, just switching to the Protos about a year ago. I wish I would have switched to the Protos much sooner.
