I’d like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers at the Treehouse! I’m thankful to still have my father. He turned 80 back in April. Finest man I’ve ever known. Brings to mind a song I used to listen to as a kid. Had it on a record back in those days...

Yeah, so far my count for fathers day weekend.
Bled the fuel system on a cummins for my son Seth. Placed an I want order for my Son Levi. Took the family on a picnic. Soon another picnic. And i am about to finish fixing the rear brakes on the 4x4. Damn adjuster spring cut loose.

Took the kids to Rocks State park for Father’s Day today. Unfortunately, my wife had to work. We have not been here in many years and they haven’t wanted to hike for quite a while. Glad they went as well as enjoyed it. And, as always, we went off trail to explore and climb. (No fragile ecosystems or bio types were injured in off trail antics)

I’m shocked it sits the way it does. It looks like it should be laying flat but it’s been like that ever since I was a teenager and probably long before that. When I was younger, a few of us climbed to the end and tried to tilt it and it wouldn’t budge of course.

Day late and a dollar short, but Happy Father's Day to all my fellow dads. I hope everyone had a wonderful time. All in all, mine balanced out good so far as I'm concerned.
