Where I work we are issues dyneema gloves for use with power tools. I recently "borrowed" a pair and used them for a weekend of tree climbing. I thought they held up well to the abuse and they are much more comfortable than leather. They are cut resistant but you may recall my little story about having my finger chewed up in a router, so they are not going to stop a 24000 rpm carbide bit. I probably should have lost part of my finger rather than have lacerations though...

I have enough dexterity to text message with them on. Using carabiners was no issue.
