Al, how big is that one bar you have hanging on the wall ??? That thing looks huge. That was run by a Mac 250 or was it another bigger saw??

It's not that big.It takes the same length chain loop as a 24" or 32" I think.The bar came with a bunch of parts I bought among which was in fact a 250 that I've never even started.

I bought the whole kit and cabootle just to get a chain brake handle for a 10 series saw,7-10 to be exact that I got for my wifes nephew.To my pleasent surprise in addition to the 250 and several 10-10's in parts was a super 10-10 auto that is a runnen little fool.I made out real good on that deal.

Having never seen a bow bar in action... this has been a really cool thread.

I have seen a big 'ol bow bar hangin' on a wall in the now defunct St. Regis shop at Camp 1 where my gramps used to work. But it was not on a saw.
