Recently, I wall mounted my monitor. The first thing I noticed was the freed up space on my desktop, and likewise the wire from my keyboard... getting in the way of my Zen setup. I've already been using a wireless mouse, but not a wireless keyboard.

I'm loving it!

My desk has a sliding keyboard tray underneath the desktop, so my keyboard and mouse cords are not on the desk at all. My monitor is on a raised shelf at the back of the desk so the screen is at eye level and the speakers tuck under the raised shelf.

I had a wireless mouse for a while but it had issues. I trashed it and replaced it with a corded laser mouse, much better IMO.

Next upgrade/addition will be a laptop, but I think I'll hold out until Vista gets replaced (supposedly Windows 7 is due out in early 2010).

Looks great Butch.. I have both wires and wire less here in our network. I am old school and prefer wires. Some of that is about batteries (ie:wireless mouse or keys). Some things I would think I would like wireless if no batteries were needed. Like my wireless connection , but I am also hard wired, I just need to fix the wire (got crimped or something under the house). I assume the monitor does not need them..
We are also looking at wireless on the TV from the puter network for movies.

Three desktops are all setup wireless. Two more are setup wired. We also have including Treeslayer three laptops in the house.

wireless keyboard and mouse here, LOVE IT.

The other night I was showing my wife a bunch of pictures and she kept saying (while pointing from afar) "show me that one, no the other one!" So I tossed her the mouse. from the kitchen table about 8 feet away she used it and brought up the one she wanted. Handy eh?

I get about 3 months from the two AAA batts in the keyboard and about 6 to 7 weeks for the two AA batts in the mouse, one note, dont get verklempt when you get the 'batteries are critical' warning, you have a few days to deal with it usually. I go till the mouse simply doesnt respond any longer.

Warnings? I don't get any warnings, the cursor just starts getting a mind of it's own.

One thing that sucked with this keyboard was the mouse they forced me to buy. It doesn't have any back/front buttons and I have to use the transmitter provided to make the keyboard work. Now I have TWO fricking transmitters, so I could keep my own mouse.

I have the Logitech keyboard and mouse, came with a little CD of utility software (called Setpoint). Keeps a monitor on battery strength and such.

I do have a wireless mouse - that is great.

I would think with Bluetooth you could rig up just about anything without wires.

I've have laptops wireless two mac 1 pc , 1 desktop wireless mac mini & on tower mac g4 wire with no key boar, mouse or monitor. I control it with my mac book pro.
the tower is used to down lowed bet torrents.( I love down loading tv shows i've not seen.)

Nice floating monitor, I agree with Jerry way to neat of a Desk. Wires on the desks, and wireless on the laps. had a wireless mouse but I too hate Batteries

Strictly laptop here. The only wires I have are the power cords for things. Even my printer is wireless and battery powered.
