Have you used the timelapse feature yet? I think I am most excited about that... Google picasa , which is free, will aggregate the pics into a video pretty easily.

I tried it at my grandmother's for Christmas just to get a feel for how it worked... pretty neat. it did over three hours@ 1 pic/3 seconds on one batt charge.. something like 4500 photos....

Cant wait to capture a removal..

Def get a small tripod and check out the timelapse photos.. the videofield of view at 170 can get an entire tree pretty easily . I think it will be awesome for takedowns..

nice, I do have one of those little 4" tripods with the bendy legs, should do fine.
