i have an old 4trax right now, starts good and runs good but that 6wheeler! front tires come off the ground going up steep stuff and you can keep going if you dont have to turn! shoot, we have even put people on the front rack to keep it on the ground so we could go up stupid steep:D

M274 military... 1/2 ton frame, boxer air cooled 4wd 4 wheel steering and the steering can flip so you can walk and drive.. Also tows as a trailer and is also roadable, just slow at about 25 MPH.
Will also pull itself up about 60 degrees of grade from what I understand....
And yes you can still get parts for them ;)

Going up stupid steep was my first rollover, up and rightover backwards. Less than a month old and massive damage, all the lights, front rack, bumper, and handlebars/instruments munched. Me riding about 15km home, trying to hold onto the instrument cluster and having a machine that could only really turn one way. That sucked, minor concussion and lots of scrapes and bruises, but did I learn noooooo. I went back for more.:D

Gay! That wouldn't do me any good with an elk.... they're ALWAYS in fugged up places..... good thing they taste so damn good!:)

Panel on the bed in the back. However for really getting in deep. Most just remove the deck. And its a whillys motor I forgot to mention 2 cyl.

That thing is cool as hell! I bet it'll take a licking and keep on ticking.

I had a 250 sx Honda come up on me and I bailed off. It crashed and flipped its way down about 50 feet of brush and poison ivy. Bent the handlebars.

I have a 300trx Honda now. It is 20 years old and both my kids abused it as well as me. Looks like chit but keeps on going. The seat has been hard plastic for about 10 years. I stand up anyway. Every corner has been bashed the bumpers and the plastic. It is 2 wheel drive and it has been stuck even with good Carlisle Strykers on the rear.

like mine, zip tie stitches, it looks like frankenstein

Ha, that's what I'm talking about Willy! Zipties have saved my life..... when in doubt, get the zipties and duct tape out.

Ive riden them all. If you want a work horse, the best machine is a Suzuki. Get a solid rear axle, not independent rear suspension, and dont get an automatic.

For play Id go with a Polaris

Auto is good for cruisin and such, but if you are pulling heavy loads, you want (need) more control of the transmission.

I have used and abused my Honda and it hasn't had one major problem yet. Other than an electrical probem that means I have to kickstart it and the headlight only works good at an idle. When I rev it up the headlight gets dim.

The Suzukis are nice with the differential lock option on the King quad models. Nice being able to lock all 4 in and have true 4 wheel drive

I wonder - can a person hold one of those back? You know, with a rope attached and a slow start?

I'd like to try that.
