So as some of you know I got the AT6 pole and I don’t care how the saw head attaches to the poles. Easy fix I used a Jameson socket that easily slipped over the end of the poles after a little de-burring.

Good to go with other attachments. But doing this mod you loose the ability to use the saw head that came with it so I have an idea how to fix that. I have ordered a 1.250” od X 1.000” I’d X .125” wall thickness aluminum tube that will get glued and screwed to male end of a Jameson connector. Pics to follow when that happens.

It’s the 6 meter model and yes it telescopes. I think it’s just over four pounds without saw head. It’s crazy light it reminds me of basswood but more rigid. Placed an order into Arbsession for a saw head that can run Silky blades. I don’t think this pole would be good for pulling heavy hangers as the locks on the pole are just a friction type with no “pin” so to speak. But I only have a handful small cuts made with it and no hook on the saw head that came with it.

I stand corrected, not 6 meter but 19 and half feet.
