I ended up getting Brian’s recommendations- Weaver shin pads. Thank you Brian! I wrongly assumed the existing top strap would work. Ordered 2 new straps about 6” longer. I had to lower the shank one notch to compensate for the height of the shin wrap. These are comfy spurs now. In time, I’ll set my pole gaffs up accordingly.
