I've been hanging on the edge of my space bar.
is that the same as the carpenterworm Prionoxystus robiniae? It has a lifecycle in the east of 22 months in the tree and 2 months out. I've seen the moth; plain brown bug nothin special. but the larvae can turn trees into swiss cheese. climb and rig with care.Is was the larvae of the
carpenter moth. There is not much we can do for control. They suggested
that systemic insecticides will kill the moth ...The lifecycle of the moth is about three years. This means that the larvae
lives in the tree for three years before it emerges as a moth.
