A BS trick, if use a rigging line that is less than double your BS height (90' rope with the BS hung at 55'), the rope's standing end/ tail is off the ground before the wood can be lowered onto it. Nothing like watching people, time and again, lower the wood right onto the rigging rope, then fight it out from under it, tangle the rope in the limb while dragging it off, and potentially cutting the rope when dicing up the wood. If you don't happen to have the right length of rope for it, your groundie can shorten it for you with the saw (JK), you may need to pull up 30' of rope just before touch-down with the limb.
Did this point come up before and I'm repeating myself???
