Now this is a question of debate. Is it triple locking? or is it triple action? Does a pinch count as two actions? It requires two fingers, but then it is still only one action. There is three locks though. Each side acts independently of one another. But Then if you analyze the motion: it is just a pinch and open. I don't know what the answer is. I like the idea

For life-support, I'm okay with a twist gate biner.

I bet the ball locks are a hassle with thick gloves, I avoid both.

Good point Dave! If a tight eye slipped over the gate just right, squeezed both latches and pulled inward, it could conceivably pull the gate open.

It's a captive eye. The tight eye isn't going anywhere. It can't pinch the gate open.

Depends which shape of biner you get Nick. The williams shape I could see the eye moving around........

I saw this biner few months back and loved the inginuity.

Nick, did you look at Jack's pictures? It is just an observation of a possibility on my part, I could be all wet. But it may share something with the Bowline which is both blessed and cursed because it is easy to untie. Easy open may mean easy open.
