I'm not interested in the actual "walk". I am interested in the prep work: ground anchors, hauling cable, etc., etc.

I agree, although the high winds rippling his shirt and pants definitely seemed serious and challenging.I doubt he would have hit the ground. He said he would "hit the wire" and wait for his rescue crew. Hell, I bet it wasn't really that hard to do, considering his experience and skill level.
