2nd Annual Warren Wilson Tree Climbing Championship

For all those who went last year, here it goes again. This time we moved it to the fall for those who want to check out WNC in the leaf looker time of year.

We're also setting up new events for spectators as well like, a giant swing, a raffle,and a tractor pull competition (maybe a mini skid pull competition as well).

Anyone who would like to compete or help out, please send me a PM, and I'll get you the info.

Can we have Wraptor races???

I am actually wondering if we could use a Wraptor to put climbers in the work climb, and I thought it would be fun to do a footlock vs. Wraptor 75'+ ascent (If you beat the Wraptor, you get a prize sort of thing. Like a T-shirt!! ).


Yeah, I graduated from WWC in 2008. This will be the second time I've run this event, and it was a lot of fun last year (May 08'), even though I felt like I was having a heart attack the whole time.


The event is open to everyone who wants to compete, even though it officially is a Southern Chapter event. Last year we had 18 climbers.
Also...
Anyone who wants to be a sponsor is welcome to make a contribution.
