I’m hoping to be able to retire at 60. And that won’t be a full retirement. It’ll be more like take a few months off at a time to adventure and then a bit of time at work to stay useful.

Guy pushing makes me shake my head. Undermine the COG and no need to push. Wouldn’t make a good chest pounding moment though. Guy flying through the air makes my whole body hurt. If I remember right, both the flying guy and the climber got messed up pretty bad.

I think the root flare could be part of the reason it started to spin after the hinge broke. Also one side could’ve had more fiber pull than the other. The stubs definitely caused the violent reaction though.

I was waiting on that stand up tree to slide down the bank or something after it fell since it was in a fail video. Those crane ones are nuts. It’s just insane the loads they were trying. Boom up and cable down can only save you if you’re just a tad over capacity.
