    That's probably true. One thing that I think helps is to wear a swim shirt "sun protection" when you dunk. It lessens the sharp cold bite just enough to keep you from screaming. I'm too manly to scream but you get the drift. @cory dunking in his banana suit is a whole nuther level. :lol:

    No doubter here friend, just a procrastinator. This was not in your beloved salt water... just in a fish tote. I was somewhat amazed at my self. Calm the breathing and things warm up, could have stayed in much longer. Now might do the polar bear plunge if I'm feeling spunky.

    Just finished a cold water immersion post Wim Hoff breathing techniques. I Smoked it, not expecting a competition. Mind over body and completely fine. Bring it on @cory 😁

    I know I'm late to the party but back when I lived in Minnesota we would cut a hole in the ice, take a sauna, jump in the water. Not really sure if that's good for your heart but it was invigorating.
