Pretty sure a lot of that was for show Cory. Sure you need to fell limb locked trees together but I'm guessing not all of them had to come down at the same time. Trying to limb and buck those afterwards would put you at risk for sure.
Gosh it's so hard to review videos some time. Given the straight up nature of those trees it looked like another lay was possible but maybe they were limb locked?
Yeah Kyle, might not be as significant on a smaller tree but as they get larger that sideways force increases on the jack. I know a smart fella like you can see why it happens.
There's no comparison to a real tree jack fellas. While you may get away with it you are at risk. Real tree jacks monitor pressure and also adjust for angle as the tree is lifted. Very important in real life situations.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking free spooling probably not an option. Even if you could, the rat nest of cable may just hang up like a bait casting real?
