I have a friend who had an AD about 2 months ago...he is normally very competent, careful...does high risk work sometimes. He was distracted by the TV while cleaning his .40 calibre handgun. I don't have the step by step, didn't ask him to relive how it worked. But he put a .40 cal round thru...

Thanks on the Mossberg 88 twin rail information. That sounds significantly important. Nice firearm you got there.

I just looked up that Mossberg 88...that's a real contender, too. I'll look at that...6 shot capacity, handles 3" shells...good specs.

Good info...I kept seeing that picture and didn't know what it was...didn't go down the rabbit hole. I think mine is the SA-22. Thanks! And that big brother BAR was a beast. Does the BAR-22 grow up into the real thing???:D

If you could find one, a Remington Nylon 66 would be a good plinker. I always wanted one of them. I bought a Browning .22 instead...they call it the BAR (not as in WWII BAR).

I had a gun rack behind the seat of my 87 Silverado....kept a 12 gauge Ithaca Model 37 pump there. Out of sight but still pretty handy.

I did in the past...still have a Dillon 550B, progressive. Started with a single stage, moved to Dillon 450 and then 550. I enjoyed it but time got tight...haven't used it in at least 15 years. I might dust it off as the grandkids are getting interested in shooting.

All it takes is ammo and time. You are more than welcome to. We can get together someday when your time is yours again. I have some VHS footage I need to convert where we shot it at that same spot about 20 years ago....Alex was about 13 years old. My Dad, Alex and I all shot it...some...
