A lot of jarred sauces are good. People talk about cooking down tomatoes, and the amazing pasta sauces they make from scratch. Yea, whatever. I just dump a jar in a pot, and it's done before the pasta's finished. I like it just fine. No time, no mess.

I hear they have licorice ice cream in Canada. That's something I'd love to find down here, but I've never seen it.

Try extracts. They add flavor without calories or sweetness. I like licorice(of course), and peppermint. Doesn't take much to flavor the water. Just a hint of flavor is what you want. Too much is too much.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, unless you want sweet water. Another fun fact, the FDA says there's no safe level of lead.

In my limited experience, mountain water's the best. I'm really only familiar with the Appalachians around the mid Atlantic, but the water's always good, and a special treat when traveling.

I like TraderJoe. Closest is ~20 miles away, which isn't too bad, but they're in a part of town I don't really like going to. Way too much traffic and headache. In my limited experience with TraderJoe, they seem to be better at snack type stuff, while aldi is better at pantry staples, though...

I like aldi's version. It's different from Trisquit, but not in a bad way. The weave is more compact and crunchy. I like that, but I also like Trisquit's loose weave. The pluses and minuses of each even out, so the only objective standard left is price, and aldi wins on price.

I love kraut! I just finished a jar of ginger carrots. It's fermented carrot, and cabbage with ginger and onion. I pretty much always have a jar of something like that open in the fridge. Kraut, kimchi, or some variation of those.
