Could be worse, but I'd have heated them. Fire's cheap.

I'll have to try that some time. Good way to get more food from a can of chili.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

A lot of jarred sauces are good. People talk about cooking down tomatoes, and the amazing pasta sauces they make from scratch. Yea, whatever. I just dump a jar in a pot, and it's done before the pasta's finished. I like it just fine. No time, no mess.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Chicken substitute is the best; at least in a breaded nugget/patty form. I haven't had fake beef aside from stuff with soy additive, which I actually like. They used to serve those at school, and at the pool cantina. Fake sausage can be really iffy. I haven't had any that's like the real thing...

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Fake chicken patty sandwiches with cheese and hot sauce. I really like the fake chicken. It gives me everything I want from chicken(a meaty texture that holds hot sauce) without the animal torture. I'm not even that crazy about chicken. I like it fried, but otherwise, I could do without it, and...

My mother used Kitchen Bouquet in her beef stew. Her stew was excellent.

I hear they have licorice ice cream in Canada. That's something I'd love to find down here, but I've never seen it.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Try extracts. They add flavor without calories or sweetness. I like licorice(of course), and peppermint. Doesn't take much to flavor the water. Just a hint of flavor is what you want. Too much is too much.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, unless you want sweet water. Another fun fact, the FDA says there's no safe level of lead.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

That's cleanest, not necessarily best! Fun fact, lead makes things taste sweet. therefore, you want your water from non coated lead pipes ;^)

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

In my limited experience, mountain water's the best. I'm really only familiar with the Appalachians around the mid Atlantic, but the water's always good, and a special treat when traveling.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

I like TraderJoe. Closest is ~20 miles away, which isn't too bad, but they're in a part of town I don't really like going to. Way too much traffic and headache. In my limited experience with TraderJoe, they seem to be better at snack type stuff, while aldi is better at pantry staples, though...

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

I like aldi's version. It's different from Trisquit, but not in a bad way. The weave is more compact and crunchy. I like that, but I also like Trisquit's loose weave. The pluses and minuses of each even out, so the only objective standard left is price, and aldi wins on price.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Cheese/crackers/hot sauce. The cheese was just commodity extra sharp cheddar. The crackers, a rosemary olive oil "trisquit" type cracker that I was disappointed with. It's not as good as real Trisquits, nor aldi's knockoff of them. Gone now, and won't repurchase. The hot sauce was Cholula...

I always liked Dennys. I used to have one really close, but they're gone now. Haven't been to one in years.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

You better climb extra hard tomorrow to work off that calorie bomb :^D I can't say much. I ate a whole chicken tonight. Shitty walmart fried chicken. I never learn. I get one, discover walmart makes shitty fried chicken, decide to never get it again, then several months to a year+ later get...

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

A pound of pasta, and a jar of sauce. I ate too much D^: I tried Rao sauce for the first time, Seems to be a lot of buzz around it, but I didn't think it was all that. It's better than some of the supermarket brands, but I've had sauces from aldi that are as good or better, and significantly...

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

I love kraut! I just finished a jar of ginger carrots. It's fermented carrot, and cabbage with ginger and onion. I pretty much always have a jar of something like that open in the fridge. Kraut, kimchi, or some variation of those.

What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Most of the stuff was cheap. Either from aldi or BigLots. The sausage was expensive. I get one every so often from wegmans. Aldi gets some fantastic cheeses, and they're very affordable. Cheese and crackers is a favorite meal of mine. I usually use hot sauce, but the with the sausage, it was...
