    The one I saw was ⅜lp. I like that setup on my 2511, but not the stock chain or bar. Not as good for fine pruning cuts, but more robust.

    I could personally live without a charge network. A 250 mile range would handle 90%+ of my needs. I could rent a vehicle for that other ~10%, and still come out ahead monetarily. The batteries are expensive no doubt. I haven't looked into it seriously, cause while the prices of (some)electrics...

    Saws break down to $/hr of operation. If you blow up a $100 bar by using $50 in oil rather than $200 in oil, did you really lose? I'd test it myself if I did enough cutting to generate some real data. I'd have to live to 90, and you guys would have to be really patient for my results :^D I wish...

    Smells vaguely like food if you spill some on the muffler. I haven't had any real problems running canola oil. I hear it can polymerize if you let it sit too long in the saw. I try to get normal bar oil in all my saws by the time hot weather comes, and they're mostly stored away.

    Pure canola will start to cloud at 25°F. Haven't cut colder than that yet.
