The new Robocob has been absolutely panned by critics. All the dark humour of the original has gone. That Ahnold flick looks cool though.

I loved it. It had a few flaws, but I think the slating reviews its getting are from people that wanted another Alien movie, and this wasn't that. Same universe, but it didn't feature Xenomorphs.

That's the problem, Captain Haddock is my favourite character - and one they would be extremely difficult to recreate.

Taken is OK. its not brilliant, but its not terrible.

Its one thing being an asshole on the track (think Alonso, Mika Hakkinen, Nigel Mansell, Prost etc) but Senna (and Schumacher) took it to another level, where they were quite happy to put their fellow competitors lives on the line to gain a place. AT least with Schumi its enjoyable watching him...

I never liked Senna. He was certainly not a gentleman, I think there were better drivers who just had more respect for their fellow competitors lives.

That was a fantastic book. And given the Directors previous efforts, I'm going to enjoy it. Witness and Truman show are in my all time top 10 films.
