I've been on soft food for two weeks because of a very painful ulcer under my tongue. Doctor, dentist, x-ray, ct scan and mouth specialist. Turned out to be a bit of bone working out of the gum from a tooth I had removed last year and scratching under my tongue. Got it out on Sunday so...

Too hot to cook when I got home so made a lentil salad. Put it in the fridge and got a beer, logged on here and a storm came up. Temperature dropped about 10 degrees. Lot more in that bowl than it looked so I tried. I usually make my own dressing but a bit tired tonight.

Dopiaza Curry with French lentils, basmati rice and broccoli. My sister came up for the weekend, it's her birthday so I cooked that for dinner. No time for pictures but it turned out alright.

Wednesday is chicken day. Drumsticks with plum sauce, a bit of chillie & brown basmati rice. No skin. And forgot the picture at first, bit hungry.

Tomatoes again, still getting some every day. Onion, garlic, thyme, marjoram, oregano, black pepper, parmesan and fresh parsley.
