Saturday cleanup that funded today's delivery. Logs are heavier than drywall but I was glad they craned the sheets into the garage. It took less than 20 min from the moment they parked to them leaving the driveway.

Been at at it for a week on and off. Two trees broke from the top of the ledge onto the deck and house. No access to bring stuff down by the deck so we winched everything up above the ledge. It is pretty steep. Winch batteries gave up yesterday so I ended up piecing the last trunk.

Went on a 2 day bike trip to celebrate the healed knee. Knee felt good so back to work on Monday.

@pigwot and @cory Thanks. Next step, pun intended, is to go see the orthopedist early next week. Health insurance is covered and the warm winter and spring were busy enough to not panic.

Lost my footing in boulders while felling an ash pole. Knee feels like a wet noodle, ER doc assumes at least 1 ligament is torn. Appointment with an ortho next week. Spent the day on the chipper maintenance. New light harness, knives, power wash, axle grease, etc... It is a white Altec. Edges of sheetmetal started to rust and I am thinking of repainting it. Has anyone repainted a chipper? I am curious how far in the component removal people went.

Change the rotted exhaust on my wife's subaru. All bolts were rusted so decided to take it out in one piece.
