Just so you know @Patrick A, that's an aspirational rig for me. Some poor life choices led me to selling my TopKick dump truck years ago. Lesson learned, never piss away an asset. Speaking of, remember the difference between an asset and a liability. Assets make you money, liabilities cost you...

It's a Ford. I'm familiar with that brand. It's nice to have a place to stand and put your tools while you work on it.

I've got the mini HMS XSRE that came on my harness suspenders from Monkey Beaver. I don't carry a great deal of tat, so I don't need that kinda stuff really. Also, everytime I go into a Ranger station, I get more Smokey Bear biners. Cheap little keychain things, with countless uses, although...

@Mellow what's the weight capacity on top of all that stuff? I've been thinking about a solution like this, but I haul all my water in 55gal drums. That's about a ton on top of that thing. A ton of dynamic weight. What say you friend? Is it rated for such?

Brother that is genius! Far from useless. I'd never thought to think about using such a thing! Also, if it sounds stupid, but works, it isn't stupid.

The IRS will be along eventually. They'll bring a flashlight and a magnifying glass, and they'll crawl so far up his backside they'll give him a dental bill.

I was under $400 for my CS-355T. Not only did it pay for itself in the first hour, it blows the competition from Stihl out of the water, power wise. I wasn't expecting it to be quite so good, honestly.

When I helped my cousin with that big pine last week, I got to use his 201t. No woo pow. Much swearing. A friend sent up his fairly new 194t. Again, no woo pow. Teach me not to bring my Echo. 355t FTW!

Hey there, let me know how you like the electric echo! I made the switch from Stihl to Echo top handles, about a year ago. Great saws, the 355t is the best topping saw I've used in years.
