Wire gate revolver works well with the plate but it does not tend like a pinto.

I've been using a loopie at the base. My spliced eye clips in with a butterfly 2' above for rescue. Srt up to the tip, lanyard in, have my groundie unclip me and pull the eye up to me. Then I set a retrievable friction saver. It's working well for me.

I need to find the time and try these out.

see how the cord is bunched up between the HH and biner. The cord slides down on one side of the biner and when you ascend it will cock the biner sideways.

I've got the treestuff tether and it does get bunched up and messes with the biner. Smaller cord and a snug knot seems like a winner.

Try making a tether from a old leather belt. I'm liking mine so far, thanks dmc.

I have an e2e that I use for my lanyard and it works great.

Got to test out the HH srt today. Everything went smoothly HH performed very nice right out the gate. My suspender idea was not so hot but worked. Ditched it for a shoulder sling and liked that much better.

After reading most of the srt threads I felt confident in my decision to purchase a HH, Haas and a CT quick step. I plan on fitting some leather/padded suspenders to my treemotion and fitting something to tend the HH from the sternum strap. Look forward to a test drive this weekend.
