    So, I was masticating that property a while back. I found a chunk of probably a live oak root crown. Looked like some interesting grain in it. So today I took my band saw and sliced some of the rough edges off. Im thinking I might try my hand at making a pistol grip for one of my revolvers.

    Brought home some logs for Stehanson. He has been looking for some mulberry for turning. Low and behold, i killed one yesterday.

    So, some 16' 2x6 came home today. A few 2x4 and some 4x4. We had a good start on 2x4 and 2x6 8- 10 foot long from some logs we hauled home. More to come. Neighbor wants some 2x8x96
