Glen. :) I have done it with my GriGri also. But for descents I'm totally sold on the HH. None of the herky jerky I get when descending with the Gri Gri. . And it is nice to be able to take a seat and get the weight off my feet when waiting for my groundies to get whatever done.

For me, 300 lbs ( all geared up) the HH w/ BeeLine. 6 or 7 wraps with 7/16 Samson Kern or 1/2" Arbor Plex. It works great. When descending srt I have to apply about twice the force to release the hitch as drt. But that isn't a big deal as drt I don't think I'm applying 10 lbs of force "...

Yup ; I finally figured out that if I'm gonna do this I need to get paid for it. It was a 15 hour day with over 300 miles of driving but that's OK . It was awesome to be up trees again. I do need to get a set of Big Bucks for my Bashlins or at least a set of foam pads for under the felt Bashlin...
