    Good Morning!

Do you have a CO detector? That will give you a hell of a headache. Or kill you. I had a wood stove pipe plug up enough to give me a nasty headache. You would think you could smell the smoke.

    It doesn't sound tasty.

So did you figure it out? What kind of antenna are you using? Been shopping for one myself.

    Good Morning!

Speaking of picking I caught a musician on PBS last night that looked like Dylan with that round hat he wears. Looked a bit like him as well. I could not believe I didn't know who he was. Blues, rock, country mix. John Hiatt. Sounded good. Anybody else?

    Good Morning!

I burned a green Weeping Willow Saturday. There was a fairly good pile of dry brush and blocks from previous shed. We piled the brush on top and rolled the rounds to the downwind side. I went back the next day and piled them up again. Burned pretty much all but a few partial chunks. He...

    Good Morning!

Here in New York taxes are quite a bit less on a pole barn. Our taxes are outlandish enough so it makes a difference. You build yourself? What do you go down for a footer in Tennessee. about 2 feet?

    Good Morning!

I hitched thousands of miles. Haven't picked up any in years. I think the last one it was nice out and I told him he could ride in the truck bed. Sad you have to be so worried about your fellow man.

    Good Morning!

I have a couple early memories of striking out in the big world. I had a little kick and glide scooter. I remember being quite a way down the road when my Dad's car came out of the drive and I could tell he was taking a long hard look in my direction. I was worried he would read me the riot...

    Good Morning!

I notice how everyone seems to stay in their house when I go to my sisters house in Utica. Nice neighborhood, friendly people {very friendly) and even in nice weather people just seem to be inside. Years ago it didn't seem people hid indoors. Computers and games are probably a couple culprits.

    Good Morning!

A lot of years I don't set my watch back for about a month. Setting the time back screws me up every year. Forward is great. I think it was 1974 when Nixon decided it would save energy to stay on Daylight Savings Time through the winter. I thought it was one of his best decisions.

    Good Morning!

Mine has a 40 A for lights and a 25 that is labeled Parking Lps. I was looking for a fuse that said Instrument Panel, as that is all I knew that was out. Further head scratching revealed running lights were out too. Does your horn work? It shared the power feed and I had to put an inline in...

    Good Morning!

I think what the fuse box was labeled was misleading. I will look and see.
  18. Cobleskill

    Good Morning!

I had the same problem and it was the power feed in the fuse box. I nipped the wires out and put an inline fuse in.

Fiddler, A few things I picked up on OWB's: If you can handle doing the install, even if you have to hire help - big savings Wood consumption sounds like it is more than most people figured - OK if wood is free If you plan on burning crap wood unit size should be on the big side I would...

    Good Morning!

Raised beds are a bit easier on the back. They help the soil to dry out and warm up sooner too. Downside is they will need more water in a dry spell.
