    What line do you climb on? On imori I like HRC or 8mm armor pruss. 6 wraps for me and I'm about 210. I'd like to try some 10mm AP too.

    Don't forget about the CT foot ascender. Similar in size to the pantin and you can lock it on the line. I don't have a problem with my pantin kicking off. I keep it tipped back slightly on my ankle and my foot flat. Try that for a bit until it becomes muscle memory.

    4 inches wouldn't bother me a bit. Always bounce test before you start climbing. If you're even a little unsure have another guy get on the line and bounce together. Always look for defects going up to your tie in point.. excessive dead limbs, included bark, etc.

    In SRT you just use branches for redirecting. Occasionally a sling if you know you're coming back up that way. No pulleys necessary in SRT because there's no running rope.

    Same as Chris for me. I've been using all 3. The wrench is the smoothest for me because it takes the largest amount of friction off my hitch. It's nice on prunes. HH is more compact, switches between drt&srt quickly, and can get nice and close when you're blocking down a removal on a...
