I doubt seriously if hardwoods in the north country of Europe are any harder than ours . Then too Husqvarna is Swedish and certainly doesn't just cater just to north America . Although most likely simplely because of the size of the wood they wouldn't often be used with long bars .Once again...

I don't know why it wouldn't .It's just wee bit less in cc's than a 2100 which is rated to pull a 60" .
