    Well, I've not used a 026 much but the owner of the saw tells me it's like a having a new women so I guess it's pretty good.

    Put it together tonight and it runs fine now, no innards in the exhaust and a larger exit make it a little noisier.

    Thanks Pete, thanks to Brians IPL I've managed to sort out the diaphram order, it was wrong, also just found an ignition wire had come loose which I had to solder back on, not put the rebuilt carb back on the 026 yet as now I have my chipper to fix. There's always something.

    AgHhhhh! It's gotta be diaphragm order, working on it tonight and it won't even fire, the diaphragm order I have is not very clear, anybody got a good one? Hey Al I may have to take a picture of the diaphragm order, I know you've helped me like that before. 18stoner, got a good carb?

    Thanks, has anybody got the diaphragm sequence? I have probably got it the wrong way round, incidentally the impulse tube is a pretty loose fit on the carb, I may have to replace it. Edit, I have the Diaphragm sequence now.

    I just rebuilt a 026 for a friend, new piston and rings plus new diaphragms, the saw starts and runs well until you go full throttle, it will run full revs for a few seconds then it will die, I swapped the fuel line and filter but that's not the problem, metering level arm appears to be set...
