    Looks like a decent setup, I’m not sure how well the chain will hold up but the bars should be good.

    Out of the box feel/hand I have to give the nod to Samson. I’m working my way through a reel of Maple leaf 1/2” and it feels slick and plasticy off the reel. But when it breaks in it’s nice, good wear resistance. Milks a bit more but nothing excessive.

    So yesterday I passed the competition and they were hauling tree parts and I was hauling trees to be planted( 8 swamp w. oaks, two sugars. Tree work in full circle crossing paths on the road. I found the irony funny.

    I think he had an affection for it, but I really don’t remember. Arborplex is an acquired taste best used as a rigging line where you need miles of stretch in a natty crotch situation.
