Until you have another solution than the rubber cap, go easy on the prying. Too many trailers have torn dust caps.

I was diagnosing the chipper/trailer brakes on my new to me chipper. Here is what I found: a bunch of broken greased parts on one side and nada on the other. Here I was, 5 min before, accusing my home made trailer cable.

Helping someone with aon a 2019 Bandit 150 XP. There is a flashing orange warning light. No error code in the list and therefore no code to reset, Below the screen, there is an orange light blinking. Day 2 of the oak fun. Neighbor wanted the wood if it was light enough. So we ripped it and quartered it. Went well and we did not have to move the wood once it was in pieces.

I did climb on that rope. That union was solid and backed up by many others in the back on the tree. Once up I switched to a tip tie.
