I'll make a load of grilled asparagus with lemon zest and Parmesan. The young kid who has an asparagus field behind my house, just came by. Told me they were harvesting for the first time this spring and just to walk over and pick as many as I want till the season is over:D

No. I was a bit flappergasted when I encountred it at first in Kreta. But with the Feta cheese, excellent olive oil and local red wine, not to mention the best fried potatoes, I've ever had. I soon got over it. Been using Greek olive oil ever since, but never managed to duplicate those potatoes.

Greeks do it that way.

See, feeding vegetarians isn't that hard. Keep that in mind for when I come visiting.
