knocked out this feral pig fir tree at my new home...goodness, a lot of zip lining and chunked it down in 9' sections for milling starting at 18" down to 32"....this porker worked me good..
I know right?......the tree service that called me said "I know you are retired but could use your help" and will pay you this much for coming out...gets me everytime..lol
I suggested they just pull it over...next day they text me that they pulled it over...lol..it was the quickest way being on supports...dump it and chunk it
I get a call from some other tree companys to come and help out once and a while on some tough jobs....like this one!
Massive Black Oak on two story home....cut into roof about 6 to 8ft down...what a mess!
The big problem was there was no crane access so had to be rigged down...job was bid at...
Did this one awhile back....HO's leaning pine was over neighbors yard and wanted it gone....the other leaning pine had root rot and busted up some blue oaks and fruit trees...
Thanks all!
Bodean, it is weird but its best to have some top climbers so you can go bid and set up jobs like your saying...this will grow your business the best way, but it wont if you are in a tree all the time.
Its how Bixler does it as well, he wins bids and has work a month out or so...
Memorial day...Fell about 22 dead firs in CG per day (3 days) ...average height was between 130ft to 160ft+...lots of camp buildings and PVC water pipes that were just under surface...wedged over almost everyone but 3 we set lines in because of bad lean and out buildings....
Camped...
