Working on a roadside maintenance and fire mitigation project. We have had lots of late season snow this year. The 718E is a great machine. There are times that we could use more reach, but a bigger machine would take up the entire road.
A project that we are wrapping up.
New homesite and road clearing with defensible space and Lodgepole Pine thinning.
It’s been a fight with the weather.
We have seen 3’ of snow in the last month.
The gravel pits burn brush, the landfill goes to “greenwaste” where they grind then spread chips at their facility.
The gravel pit charges a bit more but is closer and is less likely to blow out heavy truck tires from partially buried metal.

Don’t have a grinder. Hired a grinder in 2021 to clean the yard, but not a huge market for chips so Residential brush is going to the landfill right now. Forestry brush is typically mulched and logs hauled to the yard.
