Yesterday's multi-headed pine. The only within 5 properties. I wonder if it was planted and then neglected and allowed to develop this bad form. Also, first real hot day of the year, I was thinking of a cool vest.
Today's emergency call. Considering one half was aimed at the homehowner's house, I was glad to send it in the woods even if the tangle took a while to clear.
A 6 headed monster too close to houses and fence to be careless. Stil need half to be taken down before safely dropping the rest. Good sunny day though. Cleanup will be a lot of work, it is a no needle left behind kind of lawn.
@cory yes. I seem to ask too much from the folks I try so I changed my approach. Jobs are smaller, take longer but they get done and people keep referring me to other folks. I must be doing something right.
Before was taken in September wearing a sweater and raingear. After was taken yesterdat in T shirt weather. Got a few elm logs for the sawmill. I curious how they will turn out.
Twisty cherry in a small backyard. Nice view of the neighbor's fig tree and a we will get a few nice boards out of the logs. It is a shame I had to cut them short to fit between houses.
From removing hangers to taking the trees down after a short climb and a close inspection. And the neighbor's dog and his owner enjoyed some sawmilling time. It was a great day. Note: that poor Tacoma did leave the driveway.
Nice pictures Jed. With the leaves dropping, clients see hangers and dead branches. Fun climbs and very little cleanup. This early morning view was nice.
