@Mesquite Yes, adjustable friction saver. Saw a photo of a guy using 2 cambium savers to give 4 anchor points. Had one cambium saver so thought I'd make another one to go with it!

Used 16 strand rope. Took about twice as long as new rope. Nearly 50 minutes from start to finish. Came out well

Looks great mate. I find that daisy chaining the core loosely helps to keep it out the way plus you can pull it to help bunch up the cover to help get the second part of the crossover in. I love splicing 16 stand

How are the footloops holding up?

Need to get splicing again. Not done anything for a little while. Would much rather participate in this thread than any of the daft politics ones. Have to dig the kit out

I've got a 10mm Armor Prus lanyard I spliced up running in a cinch that I love. Currently using a a 10mm Teufelberger Sirius lanyard as its a bit longer. Thin lanyards for the win.

Climbing rope. Liros reef. Bloke had only had it a couple of days. Loads of people say "its used rope but I've only climbed on it a couple of times", this really was. Its was brand new
