I thought you were going to climb on that rope, in SRT ascent.

I made a typo.
Now yoiu know why I screamed: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! at the computer.
We finished spraying for Giant Pine Weevils.
No more 12000 step days with a backpack sprayer.
Now we are dealing with Bracken Fern with scythes............and it is warm.
Got a shitload of logging lined up for summer, that helps :)
Variation is the spice of life!
Saturday we did that shitty hedge job.
Then I got a call; a harvester needed help with some big Grand fir.
So today we strapped on the caulk boots and went logging in the fine spring weather.
Drove home early.
Happy and smelling strongly of Grand fir sap.
Do a horizontal cut from the side you want it to go to.
Cut untill the cut starts closing on the bar.
Turn that into a Humbold, then fell it from behind, making sure your felling cut is level with the face.
That way gravity will make it go over.
Make sense?
If not I'll try to explain it...
Had a shit job today.
A privet hedge to cut back severely.

He was being sarcastic/ironic.
Hard to get across via GoogleTranslate.
The smiley should have told you, he was actually showing respect for you working under such difficult circumstances.
5 minutes.
We have 500 ancient linden in alleys that need the tops taken out, in order to wind firm them.
He'll work as a feller buncher on those. We'll have another forwarder move the material for chipping.
Chip prices are so high, the biomass will more than pay for the job.
Pictures will follow.
