    Whats blooming?

Milkweed was what I thought of. I tried to plant some a couple weeks ago, but the plants died. The roots are pretty beefy, and with our lack of rain, and rock hard ground, I had trouble extracting them. The roots were ruined, and they didn't take.

I had a houseplant very similar to that years ago. Dunno if it was the same thing. It was too long ago to remember exactly. I really liked that cactus.

The fleabane's stopped blooming, and I'm not see much else of interest. I keep hoping the white clover I planted will bloom, but I've seen nothing...

Yea, I think I planted it in the spring. I haven't tried these exact flowers, but if you pull the petals out and nibble them, they taste sweet. I think I mentioned it before. The crimson clover I planted in the fall anticipating spring bloom, but it doesn't look like that happened. I'll try...

    Whats blooming?

Red clover's starting to bloom... Not very exciting, and it's a screwup. I mistook red clover for crimson clover and planted the wrong thing. The crimson clover I planted is AWOL. I'll try again this fall, and hopefully get something. Patches of crimson clover are very striking.

I like that it's bicolor. That's a really attractive bloom. I saw a bunch of these on a job today... An internet search says it's Dame's Rocket. If anyone knows otherwise, I'd like to hear it.

    Whats blooming?

Dandelions are fantastic! One place I rented back in the 90s had a backyard that alternated between yellow flowers and white puffs. It was almost a solid carpet; kind of like your picture up there. It looked great, and was a lot more fun than grass.

Siberian squill and daffodils I planted at the office... Some of the squill I planted at home seems to have gone AWOL. I think I'm missing some other flowers also. I scatter them in the yard, so it could just be faulty memory.

    Whats blooming?

A bit past their prime, and just a quick drive by, but sunflowers... They sell access to the field so people can take pics or whatever. I've never paid of course, but it's cool seeing a field full of sunflower.

    Whats blooming?

I really like that track pic. What's the story there? They don't quite look abandoned, but don't look particularly used either.

    Whats blooming?

I had a couple in the yard I was gonna try to keep by cutting before they went to seed, but it ended up being a responsibility I didn't feel like maintaining, so I got rid of them. I still like seeing them at work, and butterflies love them.
