Day and a half of pruning for a longterm customer. This was my favorite. Wish I had a 'before'. Clogged with leaves, overgrowth, and dead wood. Fixing poorly headed-back edges...hedge trimmer or lopped. I probably circled it 4 or 5 times while pruning, and worked from beneath.

The problem is the house, where to put it. Don’t need much heat so I was thinking a mini camping stove.

You can buy a good older second hand one in OR, WA, ID for less than it would cost in materials, I think. Shipping would kill the deal, of course...but if you were traveling this way anyhoo :).

Slushy rain snow mix for about the same. It feels a lot colder outside right now than the thermo says...37 degrees. Low overnight was 32, high was 38. Woodstove is earning its keep for sure :).

I know there are private companies that do short term training courses. I know there are community college courses that teach arboriculture and some have a segment on climbing. But my sense is that the UK is far ahead of the US in this.
