Found this last week. Was test driving the 7.3 to check on something I was working on and saw this in the neighbors yardfor 600.00.. 180000 on it. Katy needed something that gets better mileage than the Yukon. So we'll be selling that after I button that up. Runs great.. not much bad with it...

When it first broke, I thou g ht, well, take it over to the machinist and have him make something. Then it hit me! I have angle iron about that size! Lol
Installed a new steering shaft in the one ton. Takes a little fabbing. Cut the slide tube to the right length. Drill a mounting hole in that so it all lines up center. The old one was plain shot and added tons of play in the steering wheel. Found a loose tie rod end. Need to replace those, but...
