It’s very old, data plates gone, but at least 7,000 lbs, probably more. It’s an old Miller tilt top. The ones I see online are usually dual wheels. The springs are easily twice as big as std trailers. Interesting suspension, coincidentally like my 6x6. Spring is inverted, pivot in the middle...

Now this is trailer abuse. Little 6 lug axles. You can’t tell from this angle but the tires are cambered in pretty bad, axles flexed, maybe bent. Something we fix regularly. In contrast, my trailer has an ~8,000 lb log on it and doesn’t look like it has a load on it.

Nailed it. I tensioned and walked the tether in a semi circle once hooked to the truck to make sure I had it positioned right. Left it in the tree slack, it never tensioned. 👍🏻 Humboldt, Dutchman, sizwheel, double hinge, low ish back cut. That seems to be the ticket…more rear tearing. Harder...

I think the only risk is his, a sapling. He planted it there. 😆 I’ll probably get offered to trade for some building materials 😆

More thought process - I am to haul the wood off, logs load and tie down a lot easier with a big fork than a bunch of 3-4’ dia rounds…

I could go up and cut them off and chunk it all down as firewood for that matter. But I think they are insignificant, and where’s the fun in that? 😁

Been talking to the guy about that tree for a couple years I show up and there’s a new fence, saplings, and junk everywhere It’s 48” DBH I wonder if it needs a cable to miss that sapling on the right or if I can pull it off It’s brittle but the ratio of butt to height is pretty good...

A little more bore cut, less trigger maybe? Hard one to judge.
