    How'd it go today?

The new Stihls need a kickstand. They must have hired Husqy engineers.

    How'd it go today?

I should fix them. A 1997, never been filed 020T that needs a carb. 036 Pro needs a carb kit.

Stihl in the shop, Husqy in the woods.

    How'd it go today?

I dropped a tree on it. That saw I've owned since '96. It's spent years in the back of a pickup, neglected, and it still starts and rips. All the Stihl saws I've bought new are in pieces on the bench.

If they're so reliable, you shouldn't ever need one, unless that's the one unreliable part in high demand.

I've found used for $20-40. That's more my style.

Partsttee.com has the handle and side cover for 148$ last one in stock possible ever. 30 year old saw give or take.

    How'd it go today?

I'm looking for a brake handle for my Husky 66 (worlds most reliable chainsaw), and I'm blown away by what people think they are worth. $140 and up is pretty common. :O I'm trying to get it set up to leave at the sawmill so I'm not hauling my 395XP around all the time, and I can leave the 32"...

Redwing Blackbirds came back in February. The birds seem to come back earlier every year. Leave earlier too. I hate when the barn swallows leave.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

I woke up to 3" of slush. Scraped off what I could. It hit 46 and full sun. A lot of melting happened today. Rain the next two days, and above freezing, into the 60's even, for the next week.

    How'd it go today?

I could disappear in the Smokies. I wish it wasn’t such a popular vacation spot. The last two times I visited I was able to wonder off by myself for a few hours for a reset.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Decent today but now starting to rain again and not supposed to stop until early Friday morning. I am at that point in life that getting a rain day will not break my heart or my wallet. Being off would be a welcomed mental health day. I need a break

Spring is here! Way past continuous woodstove burning season.

Which are the most scenic E-W highways crossing the sierras?

I can honestly say, from my views of the day of my travels, that the clouds that took seat on the peaks above were surely delivering snow to high elevations.
