    Basic Insurance

Incorporation seperates personal assets from business assets. Stratum Insurance is cheap with slow customer service. I currently insure with Washington Contact Loggers' Association in Olympia, through their residential side. Bonding is commonly required, and license(s), too.

    Contract climber rate?

Contact climber rates are for experienced contract climbers who can handle a lot, often with the help of poorly trained general contractor's employees.

    Contract climber rate?

Don't expect any insurance coverage out of anyone except your legit boss or yourself.

    Biceps and forearms cramping

Anything and everything. You can buy a grip exerciser set inexpensively. A rubber band on the fingers and thumb is an extensor exercise. Pull ups and hanging. Stretching. Hydration and electrolytes.

    File guides

Spiral cut files removed the need to twist, I believe. A properly tensioned or tight- for- sharpening chain is important.

Good, dry day. One set of customer: 2 apples pruned, Ben and I levered a small peach out at the roots. Other customers: fell the hard leaning maple that the husband started beavering, who the wife convinced to wait., leaning cherry on a heavily sweeping butt, flop a maple without...

The other half of this madrona smashed off by a falling snag. There is a primary power line over the building running parellel to the ridge. I had an 80-90' TIP in an adjacent-ish fir. Leaned more than it was tall.

    How'd it go today?

Miriam stayed busy elsewhere. New Ben and I worked for a regular. High TIP shot into a tall fir to give some backup and easy of climbing a compromise Madrona. Took down a forest ash that would otherwise die once EAB hits.

    How'd it go today?

    Transitioning a spur-only climber to a base-tie SRT rope-walking canopy- raiser.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Those look 'topped'. Consider a rough guideline of remove 1/3, reduce 1/3, leave 1/3.
