I agree. Not enough daylight to want to wash equipment. Also we’ve been having a lot of that light rain/misty weather lately so all the dust just sticks to it. The next week will be to cold to wash anything

    Exercise

While I’m most likely above average physically for someone my age, I’m not a physical specimen by any means. I’m just trying to stay ahead of Father Time as long as possible. I still have a lot of things I want to do and I plan on being able to do them once I retire. That and I enjoy being the alpha

How busy are you this year compared to other years?

Clearing up some residential jobs and waiting on permits for our utility contracts. Supposed to have gotten them today but can’t start till Tuesday in observation of a national holiday.

Big dumb removal the other day. First pic was of the tree the afternoon before we started the removal. Second was the next afternoon finishing up. We pruned this tree a month ago and then they decided to remove it. A new driveway is going in and the root damage would be detrimental to its...

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Quick temp drops and snow yesterday. Gonna be mild tomorrow and then plummeting temps for the beginning of the week.

    How'd it go today?

Within an hour drive. Not surprising or a new thing. The article mentions other state parks that have done the same years ago. I was at Salt Fork years ago and recently. I will say that a lot of money was reinvested into making it nicer for common folk. By common folk I mean people that enjoy...

    Exercise

@cory. I never knew that rogue was built in Ohio. Makes sense since this used to be a big steel area. The Jocko workout is going good. Also I’m still doing the Saturday F3 workout with the group plus 3 BJJ sessions a week. I ordered a new Origin gi just before Christmas. Pants arrived but...

    Exercise

Went to F3 this morning and then 90 minutes of BJJ. Took a few hours off to do family time and the the defreset workout. This one sucked. I did as much as I could. Stopped the clock a few times to rest on a few.

    Exercise

Yeah day three has a plank I think. I’ve been doing some planks with the F3 group. Can’t remember the time. I’m sure I’ll be ok for a minute. I’ll do what I can and try for better next round

    Exercise

50 k is awesome. I’m not a runner. It seems like every time I get to a point where I can get two to three miles in without feeling like I’m dying I get injured. Lower back issues, knee pains, dislocated ribs, and my favorite a broken toe. Today’s morning was up at 4:30 and in the garage by 5...

    Exercise

Working on that still. I catch myself procrastinating these things. It wasn’t that long ago I was slacking on my cold plunges and that bled over into everything else. My new philosophy is I need to at least start whatever it is I don’t want to do. Well once you start something it’s pretty easy...

    Exercise

https://jockofuel.com/pages/def-reset-2026 Started this, this morning. I was up and in the garage at 5:00 am. Did a few quick things and headed over to The McKinley Monument for a new years morning F3 gathering. There were 40 of us out there working out in the snow for an hour and a half. I’m...

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Windy with a 40 degree temp drop. Light snow as well. I was outside in a t shirt last night and spent a few hours with my bibs on this afternoon.

Hoyt alpha x. I shot a Matthew’s ( can’t remember the model) and for me it wasn’t a good fit for me. I must’ve shot 100 arrows between the six bows I tried and then tuning this one.

    How'd it go today?

Used to be. Poison ivy was the trademarked name Sherrill had. Now I believe Sampson makes the poison ivy rope. But yes, I love my Yale 11.7 ropes. Quick break from MIL. Outside burning the paper from all the stuff she brought

    How'd it go today?

I beat the hell out of stable braid. I for years have said that Samson for my rigging and I trust Tom Yale with my life. Mostly climb on blue moon or it’s equal Today was another great day of not being at work. Woke up at 4:30 to meet the group at 5:30 for a work out. It was good for me. Then I...

    How'd it go today?

I made it to the end of the week without completely losing it. Today was a challenge. I’m off for two weeks. Two guys were warned to get their heads together for when I come back or life is gonna suck. Company Christmas party once again is on “festivus”. A few of the guys are going to stop...

    How'd it go today?

Mud season is back. We drove in fine. Played hop scotch with 24 mats 6 times to get out at the end of the day. I don’t enjoy the cold but I just wish it would show up and stick around till the end of march. I just have to with stand the BS till Friday. After that I’m off for two weeks. Hopefully...
