Okay got it ,thanks .That be the case then probabley brazing would be the best option as it will not heat the clutch drum up enough to change the properties of the metal .

Now you're going to have to make certain the drum and gear are perfectly in alignment with one another or it will shake like a dog chitting razor blades .
 
It is usually shrinked (?) together with a bit brazing on top of it.

Usually they fit very well unless there is damage.

I would not be surprised if you can order this with Stihl...
 
If nothing else good ole Bryce out in Washington might have one stashed away among that 200 tons of parts he has .I'm not certain what name he is selling under on flea bay these days .It was cheap chainsaw parts .

I think he's pretty much like Scott at chainsawr ,they have so much stuff they can't possibley list them all .
