steak sammich. new york strip, medium, sliced over rosemary chiabata toast slathered on one side with dijon mustard and on the other a garlic butter spread, touched with chunks of stilton cheese, yellow pepper and scallions. I REALLY liked it, I will be making this again.

oh, and a beer, brooklyn brewery, black chocolate stout.

It is true though. I have started using desert plates as my dinner plates to help keep my portion size down.

I inherited my grandmother's dinnerware. You should see the difference in the size of the plates.
