I really appreciate the offer, I might just take you up on it sometime! I'm in Kendall Park (between Princeton and New Brunswick). Sportsmen's Ctr is in Bordentown on Rt 130, right? That's about a half hour from me.

Little about myself: I live in Delaware, I'm not afraid to work, and I love Photography. I'm at the Delaware College of Art & Design majoring in it right now. Roof in the summers, and work for my Dad when he needs the help. Smokin and splitting wood is always fun. I love camping, traveling, music, and my family. Their the best people in the world and know what life is all about.

Thanks. You saw me arrive :) In fact, some people know people are coming before people even get there :) Its a thing that sticks in mind, having had a forum of my own, once, and knowing "the ropes".

Even the back doors 8)

Might need to meet someone from my own area, too. There must be a southern Oregon tree service on here somewhere. Well, time to explore the friendly atmosphere here. I noticed in the Sticky for Politics / Religion, that Old Monkey posted

Sounds like the perfect forum for me. Now its like an Open House - time to look in the cupboards and refrigerator.

If anybody doesn't know me, they can go to the profile section.

Pretty much been into arboriculture since 1981 when I started in college with a Consulting Arborist for an instructor. Worked at 4 country clubs, 2 university campuses, then started in business doing pruning in 1988. But that's probably old news to one or two people in here who followed forums for a while.

Maybe new news to guys way out in areas like Colorado.

Oh... if anybody has read our dialogue on AS and TB, they would see that Ekka and I don't agree on everthing.

But we do get along.

So he knows that I don't believe everything that he says, nor would he believe everything I say, otherwise we'd agree all the time.

But thinking of more local type people, what if I had the means to know what people say about me?

I probably wouldn't believe them, either :)

You know the kind of stuff people might say.... misrepresenting me as a landscaper, joking about videos, or the possibility of delusions.

In fact, since I've seen that on other forums, I'd be alarmed if it didn't exist here too. With my resources to extract information from forums, I'd probably agree that I had delusions if I thought otherwise.

OK Mario, you've looked though our cupboards and hall closets and maybe things aren't as tidy as we'd like. I mean you no ill will. I am not horribly fond of Ekka because of the things he has said and done but that is neither here no there as far as you are concerned.

Just be careful over there, Mario. I'm sure Ekkka (if he hasn't already) is chomping at the bit to introduce you to his "buddy" Mick Dundee. He has some stuff he'll be wanting to show you, slandering me.

He is insanely jealous of the TreeHouse, it's a sickness with him. He wanted to buy it but I told him it wasn't for sale. Then when I chastise him for fighting with the Brits and talking smack about America, he freaks out and becomes obsessive with hated for me, so I banned the psycotic nut.

Be prepared to hear all sorts of stuff about me from his "gang of three" You'll soon see who the other two are, they will be unable to keep their mouths shut.

Sure deal.

While I make myself at home, I promise not to "smack-around" Ryan or Skwerl .... and break the furniture getting rambunctious.

I mean, we know that some guys already have plenty of battle scars and it's not nice to pick on the handicapped :D

Anyway, now they can have another big brother to put them in a friendly headlock every now and then.

Might knock over a drink or vase though ... :)

At least forums are less fragile than real furniture.
 
Mario - if you find something in a cupboard, why don't you be a good guest and leave it where you found it?

MD, not a fan by any means, I've followed you at AS. You may not be a fan of mine either, such is life. Things are different here than there, so I will try and behave, and perhaps I will find out my opinion of you is wrong.

Its a long thread but it was the beginning of the discord between Ekka and others. Differing opinions are OK as long as folks can be civil about it. To hear Ekka talk he never has been rude or unkind and has certainly never bad mouthed others in private forums. My memory tells me otherwise.
