372 XP modify

Hey guys I'm looking for someone to help me modify my new 372xp. Willing to ship. I need a lightweight saw with lots of power for this fire season. I would like to see it able to pull a 36 inch bar with no problems or loss of power. Thanks

Mike or anyone else that might be running a 372xp, can you please tell me if there is an outer guide bar plate that fastens to the sprocket cover and sits against the bar. I'm working on the 372 for a guy and he says it is missing the outer plate, but parts diagrams don't show an outer plate, only the inner one. There is a hole for a screw to hold the plate, but I'm wondering if the saw might have originally come without one.
